Alphics Phonics' Handwriting for Juniors program is a playful and engaging journey designed to lay the foundation for strong and legible handwriting in young learners. Through age-appropriate activities, fun exercises, and proper guidance, children will develop the fine motor skills and coordination necessary for writing with confidence.
What We Will Teach Them

Proper pencil grip
Learn the tripod grip for comfortable and controlled writing.
Letter formation
Practice writing upper and lowercase letters with correct stroke order and formation.
Fine motor skills development
Enhance hand-eye coordination and control through various activities.
Posture and positioning
Develop proper posture and positioning for comfortable and efficient writing.
Number writing
Learn to write numbers 1-10 accurately and neatly.
Our Curriculam
Module 1:
Getting Ready to Write
Focus: Proper posture, pencil grip, and fine motor skills development.
Activities:
- Interactive games and songs to reinforce proper posture (sitting straight, feet flat on the floor, etc.)
Module 2: Letter Formation - Upper Case & Lower Case
Focus: Learning uppercase letters with proper stroke order and formation.
Activities:
- Introduction to basic lines and shapes (horizontal, vertical, diagonal)
- Introduce each letter with a multi-sensory approach (visual, auditory, kinesthetic)
Module 3: Putting it together - Numbers & Words
Focus: Practicing writing numbers 1-10 and simple words with proper spacing and formation.
Activities:
- Introduce numbers 1-10 with visual aids and practice writing them correctly.
- Practice writing simple words with combined upper and lowercase letters.
Module 4: Building Confidence
Focus: Encouraging independent writing and fostering a love for writing.
Activities:
- Creative writing prompts with illustrations.
- Short writing assignments with fun themes.
